All organisations who receive grants from the Emigrant Support Programme are being asked to take part in an important new survey into the impact of the projects the grants support.
The Irish Abroad Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs have commissioned the scoping project with the aim of improving the impact of the ESP fund. It looks to find out more about the projects being carried out and the difference they are making
Professor Sabina Brennan, from Trinity Brain Health and ADAPT Centre, Trinity College Dublin, who is carrying out the research points out that the survey is entirely separate from the grant assessment process:
“This project and this survey are separate from the annual Emigrant Support Programme grant application process which is currently underway and being managed by the Irish Abroad Unit in Dublin and the Embassy of Ireland in London.
“Current ESP applications will be assessed without any reference to this survey and its results.”
The survey must be completed online, click here, and the deadline for completing it is 5pm on 30th March 2018.
