Danny Fealy running for the Cuimhne Project again

Back to all news

Please help Danny raise £2000

A man with limitless willpower and lots of compassion, Danny is all set to participate in the 6–mile Barringtons Hospital Great Limerick Run yet again to support a great cause.

Irish in Britain’s Cuimnhe Project, pronounced queev’na, enables people with memory loss to continue to lead independent lives in the community. We train kind volunteers nationwide to run groups for people with memory loss wherever there is need.

Without these champions, our project would not be possible. We need to raise as much as we can to continue to support this community, which includes but is not limited to people with age–related forgetfulness, dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The kind–hearted Daniel has his trainers ready so that we can continue to train. The funds also support travel costs for the volunteers so that they can attend the areas in need.

Please encourage Danny by sponsoring him so that he can complete the 6 mile run on 30 April 2017 with confidence.

Danny says:

“No matter how big or how small your contribution, it will make a fantastic difference, thanks a million – Go raibh maith agat.”
