Last May, David McGowan hit Irish headlines when he transported a Boeing 767 plane from Shannon Airport to his glamping site in Co Sligo.
David, who has been an undertaker for the past 20 years, is now finalising the logistics of bringing a train from London, which he bought for €25,000, to the site.
“The logistics to move this will be nearly as big as the plane. I rang Irish Ferries yesterday morning and do you know what he said to me? ‘I’ve been waiting for your call. Are you the plane man? We’ve been following you for the last six months.”
