On the 13th March 2016 the Mayor of London will host the 15th London St. Patrick’s Day Festival to celebrate the traditions and cultures from and inspired by Ireland. As well as an Irish food market, a parade, a film festival and interactive activity there is also a live music stage. In 2015, the band Corner Boy took the stage by storm and secured 1st place – winning the grand prize of £500. This year the London Mayors Office are looking for an amazing London Irish talent to take the crowd by storm!

The London Mayors Office are offering the chance to win a slot on the main stage and perform live in front of this huge audience. Join a bill that has included Damien Dempsey, The Coronas, Divine Comedy, Sharon Shannon, The Saw Doctors and Riverdance!

Performers will need to be of either Irish decent or have an Irish inspired performance and able to dance, sing, or provide something unique.

To enter, acts will need to supply:

A)     A link to a video of themselves performing live (even if it’s only recorded in a bedroom).

B)      A 300 word biog.

C)      A photo of the act.

All entries should be sent to events@london.gov.uk by Friday 12th February.

The best 3 acts will be selected by a panel of judges to perform on London St Patrick’s Day Festival main stage.

The overall winner (chosen by the audience on the day) of this free–to–enter competition will also be awarded a £500 prize. All acts must be available on Sunday March 13th 12 – 6pm.

GOOD LUCK!
