Heritage Lottery Fund Webinar: Small Grants

Back to all news

Join Irish in Britain on Tuesday 24 April for a free webinar on applying for small grants (under £10,000) from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The webinar will take place at 2pm and last 45 minutes, including 15 minutes for questions.

The session will be led by Liz Shaw, the Development Manager for Heritage Lottery Fund West Midlands.

Liz has worked for the Heritage Lottery Fund for almost 14 years as a Development Officer and Development Manager. During that time, she has advised hundreds of organisations, from small community groups to large local authorities, on applying for grants.

Liz previously worked as a project manager for a heritage regeneration scheme in Walsall. She holds a BA in Archaeology from the University of Birmingham and a MA in Heritage Management from the Ironbridge Institute.

Liz will cover the basics of applying for a small grant from the HLF including: what makes a good application, what they like to see in projects, and what mistakes you should avoid.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain expert insight into the Heritage Lottery Fund. If you have a cultural project you wish to run, or think you may run one in the future, make sure you don’t miss this webinar.

Invitations to the webinar will be sent out in advance and again the day of the event. You simply need to enter your name and email address to join the webinar once it begins.

Please email membersupport@irishinbritain.org if you plan to attend.

We hope you to see you there!
