Culture Night 2014

Culture Night is for everyone to enjoy. So what about hosting or running a Culture Night of your own?

Culture Night is a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate Irish culture in Britain. There is no right way to do Culture Night, and it doesn’t just happen in arts or cultural venues; right across the globe it takes place in GAA clubs, community centres, cultural venues, schools, churches and even on the street! It can be a night of lots of acts or even a short talk or performance. It is a great way to open your doors to new audiences, build your networks and let people in your local area know about what you are doing. You can even fit it around something you might already be planning. The only requirement is that it happens on Friday 19th of September!

We want to help you make it happen!

If you are starting to plan your events for the autumn months, consider hosting something on Friday 19th September and join hundreds of thousands of people across Ireland, Europe and the USA as we find another annual date to claim as our own!
•Like the idea of culture night but stuck for an idea?
•Have a great idea but need some help to achieve it?
•Would like to do something but need some funding support?
•None of the above…but I have another question…

Contact Fiona Smith at fsmith@irishinbritain.org and we’ll help you make it happen!

If you think you’d like to host or organise a Culture Night event in your area, please register your interest with Fiona by Friday 11th July and we will send you out a Culture Night Britain pack with all the details of how to make it work for you.
