NYCI (National Youth Council Ireland) have hosted a historic conference called ‘Home is where the heart is – A Conference on Return Migration’ where Diaspora Minister Jimmy Deenihan spoke about providing opportunities for return migration. The conference was opened by the Minister of State for the Diaspora, Mr Jimmy Deenihan, TD and explored:
attitudinal and structural barriers to young emigrants returning to Ireland at present
supports required to facilitate young emigrants to return in the future, if they wish to return
the essential components to be included in a strategy to facilitate return migration
