Listen to the story of the late Denis, a Kerryman who sadly passed away on the 23rd of November at the age of 71 in London. Denis was part of the generation of Irish people who came to work in Britain to work in the 1960’s–1970’s and never settled back at home.
His dying wish was to be buried back in Kerry, with the support of Dan Sullivan from Kerry Group Construction, Ambassador Mulhall, Minister Deenihan and our own Charlotte Curran he has since been laid to rest at home.
Denis’s story is a common one unfortunately but it’s worth listening to and learning from.
If you want to support people like Denis still living in Britain you can Text ‘DENN16 £5’ to 70070 to donate.
