Back to all news

Calling Irish Diaspora.

You might be away from Ireland but you can still be an important part of the historic 1916 centenary celebrations taking place in Ireland in 2016.

A TV production company are looking for Irish people and members of the Diaspora from around the world, they would like you to record your delivery of sections of the proclamation to camera to be included in a package that they are preparing for the RTE 1916 commemoration/celebration Centenary. This will be aired on Easter Monday the 28th of April as part of Ireland’s celebration of the rising of 1916.

They are asking people to film themselves reciting the proclamation in various countries with iconic images in the background.

It can be an individual or family, first or second generation, a group of friends, a GAA Team etc.

You can email avril.reilly@tyrone-productions.ie for more specific information and details.
