Now Irish people and organisations from around the world can access a list of 360 groups, providing a useful starting point to connect.
The list was a response to the frustrations aired at the second Global Irish Civic Forum this May on the challenges experienced when trying to connect with other groups.
The wide list includes groups from Jamaica to Australia highlighting the diaspora’s focus on maintaining a sense of community and culture.
The directory is helpful for groups to work together on projects as well as individuals hoping to stay in touch with others and get involved with their local community groups. It will no doubt help to lessen the frustrations caused by searching for relevant groups.
