The annual event celebrates the enormous talent and creativity of women from Ireland, and further afield.

Ambassador Adrian O'Neill addresses the Embassy's St Brigid's Day event.

Lively discussions were held on the night in relation to climate change, women in sport and, in view of today's centenary of the publication of Ulysses, women and James Joyce.

Anna Haugh, chef and restauranteur spoke on the night of her inspiring journey along with MC, journalist Dearbhail McDonald (pictured with Ambassador Adrian O'Neill).

The night was also filled with wonderful music and poetry performed by talented women who are leading in their field.

Many thanks to the Embassy for hosting this inspiring event.
