Milton Keynes Irish Welfare Support Group is featured in a new video by Milton Keynes Community Foundation entitled “Surviving Winter Together”.
In the last 15 years, there have been over 1,000 preventable winter deaths in Milton Keynes, a situation that sadly, is likely to be replicated across Britain. During the coldest months of the year, vulnerable people are at risk of premature death because of their age, health or living conditions.
MK Community Foundation is working with local organisations across the community to support people who have to choose between heating and eating and Milton Keynes Irish Welfare Support Group is just one of those groups.
