Votes for Irish Citizens Abroad (VICA) is campaigning for Irish Citizens living abroad to be given the right to vote in Irish elections and referendums, in order to bring Ireland inline with the vast majority of democratic countries around the world.
This includes supporting extending the right to vote for the presidency as a significant first step to acknowledging the ongoing engagement with Ireland of citizens abroad.
We are a diverse group including long–term emigrants, more recent emigrants and second generation Irish.
