“Irish in Britain is at the forefront of welfare, campaigning and cultural work. The Annual Irish Language Award recognises a volunteer or organisation within Irish in Britain who has done the most to promote our language and culture in Britain. The Award is important because Ireland’s culture is inclusive, welcoming and open to all. Funds for the prize come from Coláiste na nGael, who are proud members of Irish in Britain”
